Welcome to the Residence Ortensia, a vintage building of 1924, completely restored in harmony with the original style of the typical Italian villas on the Lake Maggiore. It is located in the heart of Baveno at 100 m from the lake, has a large flower garden and an underground garage. The landing-stage for excursions to the Borromeo islands is only a few steps away.
The family-run Residence is composed by two different buildings: the ancient villa with 7 two-room and three-room apartments, some of which are decorated with frescos, and the “Old Hen-house”, opened in July 2008, with two elegant two-room apartments that go directly in the garden.
All apartments have heating, independent air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchenette, microwave, satellite LCD TV, bath with hairdryer, safe, bed linen and blankets and towels. The guests of the Residence Ortensia have at their disposal in the villa’s garden all the necessary equipment for relaxation moments, including a barbecue.
Our Hotel Rigoli, directly on the lake, offers to the guests of the Residence Ortensia its equipped sandy beach, its restaurant and bar on the panoramic terrace.
